Globally, UN’s theme was about equality: “Reducing inequalities, advancing human rights.” Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: – “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.” Let’s look at some history before reflecting on what we can do, collectively, to advance human rights.
