Craig Cardiff
Armed with an extensive catalogue of songs, his Book of Truths, sharp wit and soft voice, Cardiff performs two back-to-back shows at The Top Knight Pub at 4910 49th St. Jan. 10 and 11. Both shows start at 8 p.m., and doors open at 7 p.m. both nights. Arts Numeriques
NACC reopened after the holidays on Wednesday, and is kicking off the new year with Arts Numeriques, meaning Digital Arts, next Saturday, Jan. 12. The 7:30 p.m. show will feature a pre-performance in the lobby by local group Miraj, followed by performances from Myriam Bleau and Martin Messier, and a screening of Herman Kolgen's short film LINK.C.

YUC Winter Indoor Clinic
Ever wonder what Ultimate was all about? Looking to learn a new sport? Need a way to fulfill your new year’s resolution? Then come out to the YUC Winter Indoor Clinic! Learn the basic skills and rules of Ultimate, challenge and refine your learning through drills, and scrimmage with your friends and fellow clubmates!
A free event open to beginners and veterans 16-years-old and up, all you need are indoor shoes and a dark and white shirt. See you there!

Pass the Music On! NWT Music Teachers Fundraiser Concert
Every musician has had a teacher, usually many teachers over the course of their lives. Pass the Music On is a fundraiser concert happening Jan. 19 at the Top Knight to support the Music Teachers Association NWT flagship event: the YK Music Festival. Advance tickets are $30 at Roy’s Audio Video (cash only) or $40 at the door. You don’t want to miss this amazing lineup!

Looking for a way to kick off 2019 with some great outdoor activity? Join the Yellowknife Mountain Bike Club on Sunday, Jan. 20 for their TINsanity Fat Bike Jam at Tin Can Hill!
Ride a 2 km loop as many times as you can in a set time limit:

Open category: 1 hour
Registration will take place on site before the event. YKMTBC members race free! For non-members, there will be a registration fee of $10 – cash only.
