Still one case of COVID in NWT, 533 tests done

There was still one confirmed case of COVID-19 in the NWT, with 533 tests performed and 209 tests pending, the Department of Health and Social Services said in an update on Wednesday morning.

There were 492 tests performed and 176 pending on Tuesday.

The update came just after neighbouring Yukon announced its third positive case of the virus.

Across Canada there were at least 1,960 positive cases of coronavirus and 27 deaths, according to the latest report from the Public Health Agency of Canada.
