Petrovic was last seen leaving her 53 Street apartment towards Franklin Avenue on Boxing Day - Thursday, Dec. 26 - at around 3:40 p.m., according to a news release issued Monday by Mounties, the latest of three since Dec. 30.

Sladjana, who police described as “Caucasian, 5’7” / 170 cm, 257 lbs / 117 kg, heavy build, shoulder length “salt and pepper” brown hair and blue eyes,” was captured on CCTV video on Dec. 25, the day before she was last seen downtown.

Yellowknife RCMP released a still image of Sladjana Petrovic captured by a CCTV camera on Christmas Day, one day before she was last seen leaving her 53 Street apartment. Police believe she was wearing the same clothes when she was last seen on Dec. 26. RCMP photo.

The newly-released security camera image shows Petrovic wearing a dark blue jacket, with light blue liner, a pink or red shirt, along with running shoes. She is seen carrying a grey/black bag or purse.

Police believe Petrovic was wearing the same clothing when she was last seen.

Despite a “dedicated, multi-level police investigation,” that continues to see Yellowknife Ground Search and Rescue (YKGSAR) actively patrolling the downtown area, including back alleyways and residential yards, police say there have been no confirmed sightings of Petrovic.

Sladjana Petrovic, 60, hasn't been seen or heard from since Dec. 26. Police in Yellowknife say they're working "around the clock" to located the missing woman. RCMP photo.

Police, who continue to canvass the downtown area in an “around the clock” investigation, are now asking residents with “nest” cams or vehicle dash cams to review their recorded footage between the hours of 3 p.m. and 12 a.m. on Dec. 26, and to report any sightings.

Petrovic, according to Monday’s news release, has been known to visit Calgary and Edmonton in the past. News releases related to her disappearance have been shared in those jurisdictions accordingly, and Yellowknife RCMP are working with partner agencies south of the NWT border, say police.

Police say the investigation remains a priority, with NWT RCMP Police Dog Services and resources from other units supporting the probe.

“Our investigators continue to work around the clock to locate Ms. Petrovic,” states Yellowknife RCMP Detachment Commander Insp. Alex Laporte.

“We are concerned for her well-being, and any pieces of information can assist, so please contact us with any information you may have. Our investigators are following every possible lead to locate Ms. Petrovic,” added Laporte.

Yellowknife Ground Search and Rescue (YKGSAR) were deployed to the Tin Can Hill
area Tuesday after police received a tip about a piece of clothing found Dec. 27. It was gone by the time police got there, so "given the investigators could not determine if the item did or did not belong to Ms. Petrovic, an extensive search of the area was completed," according to an RCMP news release.

"A helicopter was deployed to assist in the search of that area, as well as an expanded
search area by air. Members of Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA) were on
board as well as an RCMP officer.

"With information brought forward by the public, we were able to direct resources to a
specific area today. While that search did not yield further evidence or information on Ms.
Petrovic's whereabouts, it shows the importance of relaying any information the public may have on Ms. Petrovic to the RCMP," states Insp. Alex Laporte, Yellowknife RCMP Detachment Commander.

Anyone with information related to the whereabouts of Sladjana Petrovic is asked to contact either Yellowknife RCMP at 867-669-1111 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, nwtnutips.com, (click on "submit a web tip") or text: nwtnutips to 274637.
