An apparent vehicle accident closed a lane of traffic on Franklin Avenue during rush hour Tuesday morning.
Yellowknife Fire Department (YKFD) and MED attended the scene of the accident, across from Avens Manor, just before 9 a.m.
A SUV sustained front-end damage.
A bylaw officer controlled traffic, temporarily closing a lane on Franklin Avenue, while firefighters cleared debris from the scene.
It’s unclear at the time whether or not the driver suffered injuries as a result of the accident.
