Road closures due to Kam Lake sewage leak

A leaking sewage line caused road closures at Kam Lake Road and Coronation Drive. The closure has drivers travelling through one lane on Tuesday. Crews are working on fixing the line and the road closures are expected to last into the weekend. The last sewage leak in the Kam Lake area was in January of 2018.

A breach of a sewage line in Kam Lake has caused a closure of Coronation Drive from Curry Drive to Kam Lake Road.

Kam Lake Road will also be reduced to one lane. The closures are expected to run all day.

Crews are currently working to fix the breach and Lift Station 5 has been closed with all sewage lines diverted to stop the flow.

The last sewage leak in the Kam Lake area was in January of 2018 which required several months to clean up.

The damage is currently being assessed and more information will follow.
