Snowking’s Winter Festival is folding prematurely.

The news comes after weeks of high temperatures caused substantial damage to the snow castle, said Snowking Anthony Foliot in a video posted to Facebook.

“This is your last chance, so come on down,” said the Snowking in the video that showed some flooding in parts of the castle.

“This is it folks,” stated a message posted to the festival’s Facebook page. “Tonight is our last night and the doors will be closing on season 24. Sorry to break it to you!”

The annual event was supposed to finish on March 31 with a Frosty Craft Sale but Megan Nash followed by the Heavy Weights Brass Band will close out the festival tonight starting at 8:30 p.m.

“We’re going to be rocking it tonight,” said the Snowking. “(This is) the last kick of the can, the swan song.”
