GNWT websites went down for about 15 minutes on Wednesday, just before 11 a.m.
"Website under maintenance" and "Network error" messages appeared when users tried to access GNWT portals, but were accessible again around 11:15 a.m.
The apparent crash came several minutes after the NWT Parks website had slowed down and was inaccessible for some users.
The parks site displayed a message that read "We are currently experiencing a higher than normal volume of orders, please wait 5 minutes and try again. We appreciate your understanding."
