Multiple firearms and ammunition were stolen from a Yellowknife home during a recent break and enter, say RCMP.
Yellowknife RCMP responded to a home on Rivett Crescent on Monday evening, just after 7:30 p.m., after receiving a report that a theft had occurred, according to a news release issued Tuesday.
Police believe the break in happened sometime between the evening of Oct. 7 and the afternoon of Oct. 8.
Jewellery and other miscellaneous items were also swiped from the home, state police.
