The GNWT plans to make an announcement on Tuesday afternoon on the loosening of restrictions on public life imposed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chief public health officer Kami Kandola said in her Covid briefing last Wednesday that plans for loosening the restrictions would be released very soon.

“We’re looking at businesses, outdoor gatherings, schools, as we go through the relatively low risk phases. We move into progressively higher risk phases related to the level of indoor gatherings that are riskier,” she said.
