The City of Yellowknife needs a few good angels.

Residents are called to become be a Snow Angel and volunteer to shovel the driveways and walks of Yellowknifers who are unable to do so.

Residents who have been helped out by someone volunteering for the Snow Angel program can also nominate a volunteer who in turn can have a chance to win a prize.

“Snow that remains on sidewalks can be hazardous for everyone, but especially for seniors and persons with disabilities,” Mayor Rebecca Alty said in a release.
