Peter Tsetta was sentenced to 9.5 years in prison for raping two women in 2017.

Tsetta was convicted of sexually assaulting Cynthia Grandjambe "over and over" in June 2017 after an emotionally charged hearing in August; his sentencing hearing was Monday afternoon.

Tsetta was found guilty of sexually assaulting another woman in a strikingly similar attack – just one month earlier in May 2017, in the same trial.

The victim of that assault is now deceased.

Tsetta is expected to serve about five years in prison after getting credit for 43 months of pre-trial custody.

More to come.
