With profound sorrow, the Debogorski family mourns the loss of Alexander Stanislaus Debogorski Junior, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 41. Born and raised in Yellowknife, NWT, Alex Jr. was a skilled red seal mechanic by profession.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion as a cherished father to six children: Logan, Joelin, Audrey, Leo, Georgia, and Alex (affectionately known as little Al), and a beloved husband to Ashley. Alexander was also a dear brother to Shielo, Curtis, Nelson, Andrew, Dominic, Amelia, Julaine, Ezekiel, Benjamen, and Gianna. Son to Louise and Alex Debogorski, Alexander was an adored uncle to 18 nephews and nieces.

Alexander touched countless lives with his boundless kindness and generosity. He found joy in the simplicity of life—whether through his passion for broomball, his love for the outdoors, or cherished moments spent at the cabin with the Walkers and gatherings with family and friends. Alex Jr. was not only an inspiration but a mentor in the truest sense, exemplifying the meaning of selfless service. His unwavering support and comforting words were a source of strength to all who knew him. He believed deeply in the power of prayer and held a special devotion to the Holy Rosary, often praying his children to sleep when they were young.

His absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his family.Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever remain a guiding light. Alexander will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

A Funeral Mass in memory of Alexander will be held at St. Patrick's Church on Saturday, June 29th, at 1pm, with a graveside burial at Lakeview Cemetery to follow. A reception at Sir John Franklin High School gymnasium.

May he rest in peace, forever cherished in our hearts and memories.
