Nominations are now open for the 2019 Arctic Inspiration Prize.

This year, $3 million is up for grabs. A $1 million prize will be awarded to an exceptional team and up to four teams will be awarded up to $500,000 each.

Seven teams with members under the age of 30 will be awarded up to $100,000. The youth prize category aims to inspire the next generation of Arctic innovators by funding projects relevant to them.

An optional letter of intent is due by Sept. 9 and nominations will be accepted until Oct. 15.
