RCMP seize $5,700-worth of alcohol in Apex, lay charges

A 55-year-old Iqaluit man has been charged after RCMP confiscated thirty-six 60-ounce bottles of alcohol from an Apex residence on Monday.

The liquor has an estimated street value of $5,760.

Ray Shipman is facing charges of keeping liquor for sale without lawful authority and selling liquor without lawful authority.

His next scheduled court appearance is set for July 16 in Iqaluit.
