Iqaluit RCMP have advised that a 13-year-old girl who was reported missing on Oct. 29 has safely returned home.

The police issued a news release over the weekend seeking the public’s assistance in locating the teen. Word circulated quickly over social media. The girl was located shortly after the news bulletin was disseminated, according to the Mounties.

The public is thanked for their assistance in this matter.
