Trucked water, sewer and garbage services are suspended due to cold weather, the City of Iqaluit announced on Thursday afternoon.
Crews are expected to start early on Friday morning to make up for lost time, a city news release states.
Environment Canada registered Iqaluit's temperature at -30 C on Thursday afternoon. Wind gusts up to 57 km/h made the windchill -48 C.
