During the COVID-19 pandemic, NNSL Media gave over 140 northern businesses and organizations free space in our seven newspapers and online. We created a BuyNorth page just for that purpose. Now we are partnering with Industry Tourism and Investment on our BuyNorth campaign to help business recover from the shutdown.

We have also partnered with NWT Tourism on a Northern Staycation campaign — shifting the focus to Northern residents to keep our Northern tour operators running until International and inter-provincial travel returns Northern tourism to the thriving industry jewel it was pre-COVID-19.
