The Multiplex was busy this past weekend with the sights and sounds of the Spring Trade Show. Close to 150 businesses and organizations set up shop to show off and promote themselves to those who stopped in to check it out.
"This is a year-long planning endeavour and it is a big event for the chamber to host," said Melissa Syer, the chamber's executive director. "It's important as it serves as a great showcase of Yellowknife as a community and everything it has to offer, from businesses to community groups and organizations for kids."
The chamber has been hosting the event for more than 50 years.
Syer said when compared to previous years, the turnout was smaller but still successful right after Covid-19. However, last year saw a return to pre-COVID numbers, and this year seemed to be following the same trend.
