Behchokǫ̀ RCMP is still searching for Ralph Beaulieu, 54, who has not yet shown up at the arranged pickup location from his cabin south of the community

Beaulieu was first reported missing on May 9 after police received a phone call from a concerned friend. Officers then arrived at Beaulieu’s cabin and discovered that he hasn't arrived. An initial ground search was conducted by the officers.

According to police, Beaulieu was dropped off at the cabin on April 23, with plans to head out onto the land on April 29. He was supposed to be picked up on May 8, but his friend did not find him upon arrival at the cabin..

RCMP were reportedly told that Beaulieu had been seen at Stanton Territorial Hospital, but that lead turned out to be false.

The search is still ongoing with the assistance of CASARA, Yellowknife Search and Rescue and community volunteers.

If you have any information at all as to Beaulieu's whereabouts of if you picked him up on Highway 3 south of Behchoko, you're asked to contact Behchokǫ̀ RCMP at 867-392-1111 or Crime Stoppers at http://www.p3tips.com. In the event of an emergency, call 9-1-1.
