Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in Yellowknife today for what’s being called “private meetings”, according to his official itinerary.
There was no immediate knowledge of what Trudeau is doing, but it’s his first visit to the capital since 2017, when he hosted a town hall. It’s also not known if he’s going to visit any other community in the NWT while he’s here.
