RCMP executed a search warrant at Bompas Place Apartments in Inuvik early Sunday morning.
The police activity was part of a drug trafficking investigation with the Northwest Territories Emergency Response Team (ERT) assisting.
“This incident is still under investigation and there may an increased police activity in the area throughout the day,” the RCMP advised at around 6:30 a.m. “As the investigation is ongoing, no further information is available at this time. Additional information about this incident will be provided in the future.”
