Inuvik RCMP say they were called to a disturbance at an apartment building on Dec. 8. Upon entering the residence, police officers noticed signs of drug trafficking and began a search.

Five individuals inside the apartment were arrested, including a 17-year-old youth from Surrey, B.C. While police were searching the youth, they allegedly found approximately 40 grams of crack-cocaine on his person.

Police found over $41,000 in cash in the apartment as well as other paraphernalia associated with drug trafficking.
