Fireworks ring in new year

Most of Rankin Inlet took in fireworks at Williamson Lake to ring in the new year, as hundreds of cars surrounded the display set up by the Rankin Inlet Fire Department to enjoy the show from all angles. Fireworks also heralded in the new year in other Kivalliq communities.
