Overflowing water has washed out a part of the Inuvik-Tuktoyaktuk highway.
An update was released by the GWNT at 8:40 a.m. May 29.
"The Inuvik Tuktoyaktuk Highway is closed due to overflow and washout at km 32," says the release.
This is the second time this year weather has forced closure of the roadway. A massive amount of snow in February forced the total closure of the road for 15 days.
