Teams KIA and A&K clash tonight in game two of the best-of-five series to determine the champion of the Rankin Inlet Senior Men's Hockey League for the 2018-2019 season.

Game time is set for 8 p.m. at the Rankin Inlet arena.
KIA nipped A&K 7-5 to take game one in the series.


Elder's tea

Elders in Rankin Inlet are reminded that the hamlet is hosting an Elder's Tea, for those aged 60 years and older, with snacks, games and loads of fun at the Rankin Drop-In Centre on Thursday, Feb. 28.
The fun gets underway at 10 a.m. and continues until noon.


Giant raffle

Hockey fans across the Kivalliq are reminded of the giant raffle being held in support of the upcoming Terence Tootoo Memorial senior men's hockey tournament in Rankin Inlet from March 6 to 10.
Top prize in this year's raffle is a 2018 XF 600 Crosstrek ES Arctic Cat and a 16-foot homemade qamutiq.
There are also three pairs of tickets to Winnipeg and return courtesy of Calm Air to be won, along with two other major prizes.
