Inuvik RCMP have taken a suspect into custody after responding to a report of shots being fired in the community.
After receiving a call around 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Mounties attended a Alder Street residence, where officers "contained the scene and were able to make contact with a suspect inside," stated a news release.
The suspect, who hasn't yet been named by police, was taken into custody without incident. No one was injured.
RCMP say they aren't releasing any more information at this time.
