RCMP are investigating a sudden death that happened in town last week.
At approximately 11:39 p.m. on June 5, police were called about an injured adult male who was non-responsive in a residence on Union Street.
NWT Coroner services is assisting with the sudden death investigation and the NT RCMP major crimes unit, along with the NT RCMP Forensic Identification Services, are investigating if the cause of death is criminal in nature.
No charges have been laid and the investigation is still in process.
