Iglulik RCMP revealed Friday that they arrested a 23-year-old Iglulik man on June 18 and charged him with multiple offences.
Louie Kripanik is in custody and will answer to the following charges in court:
-one count of making an obscene picture
-one count of Indecent act
-one count of sexual Interference
-one count of choking
-two counts of sexual assault
-one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence
-three counts of breach of probation
Kripanik's first court appearance is scheduled for June 23. This investigation is ongoing, according to the Mounties. Police suspect there may be more victims in the community, and they encourage anyone with concerns to contact the RCMP at 867-934-0123.
