The original advisory was issued for the town of Hay River on March 11 due to concerns that smoke from the landfill fire could cause poor air quality.

According to a press release from the Chief Public Health Officer, the town has normal air quality conditions and the advisory is no longer needed.

"Hay River residents are encouraged to partake in normal outside activities at this time," the release states.
